Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support an elementary school caseload in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area (St. Louis Park region) for the 20262027 school year. This full-time, school-based role involves working at a single elementary site while supporting both general education and special education students. This is a great opportunity for professionals experienced in IEP services, student support, and family engagement.
Position Overview:
• Full-time, school-based role for the 20262027 school year
• On-site position at one elementary school
• Mix of general education and special education support
• Collaborative school team and supportive district environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide social work services to elementary students
• Support students with behavioral, emotional, and social needs
• Participate in IEP-related services and meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Provide consultation and intervention strategies for student success
• Support family engagement and communication
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Minnesota guidelines
Required Qualifications:
• Active Minnesota School Social Worker license/certification
• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Experience in school-based or child/adolescent settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Experience with IEP services and school-based consultation preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
