Job Summary

Under supervision of the appropriate administrator and general direction of a classroom teacher, assists the teacher in the instruction and care of students who are severely disabled including management of student behavior; record keeping; instructional assistance; medical care; classroom organization; and interaction and communication with students, support staff, parents and agencies.

Requirements / Qualifications

One must be a recent supervisor. * Live Scan will be required and paid for by applicant. * TB Clearance will be required and paid for by applicant. * CPR/First Aid Certification will be required and paid by applicant. * A district paid pre-placement physical is also required and paid for by employer.

MUST HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: - A degree A.A or higher - Transcripts of 48 college units - A certificate of the Paraedcuator Exam also known as the NCLB exam (If you do not have any of the items above and would like to take the NCLB exam please contact Human Resources to schedule a time to come in and take the exam for free!)
