Job Description
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced paraprofessionals for a full-time New School Year (NSY) opportunity with a school district in the San Francisco, CA area. This position offers the potential for renewal into the next school year based on performance and district needs.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classroom and school settings
• Assist teachers with classroom management and daily lesson activities
• Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily routines
• Implement accommodations and behavior intervention strategies as directed by school staff
• Work one-on-one or in small group settings with students
• Assist with documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree, completion of 48 college semester units, or successful completion of a paraprofessional assessment may be required based on district guidelines
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience supporting students with special needs and/or behavioral needs preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening requirements
• Fingerprinting and state clearance required prior to start
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $35.52. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
