Cunningham Elementary is looking for a passionate, energetic, and caring Bilingual Kindergarten Teacher to join our Colt family! We are seeking an educator who believes our youngest learners deserve a joyful, structured, and engaging start to their school journey.

Our Bilingual Kindergarten Teacher will help students build strong foundations in literacy, math, language development, social-emotional learning, and independence—all while creating a classroom where children feel safe, loved, challenged, and excited to learn.
What You’ll Do
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging bilingual classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in both English and Spanish that aligns with district curriculum and Texas standards.
• Build strong early literacy, math, language, and social-emotional skills through hands-on learning, play, small groups, and purposeful instruction.
• Use student data, assessments, and observations to identify strengths and support individual learning needs.
• Implement positive classroom management strategies that help students learn routines, build confidence, and make responsible choices.
• Collaborate with your Kindergarten team, campus leaders, interventionists, special education staff, and other support personnel to ensure every student receives what they need.
• Communicate regularly with families and build meaningful partnerships that support student success at home and at school.
• Use technology and instructional tools to enhance learning, monitor student progress, and keep accurate records.
• Participate in school events, professional learning, and campus initiatives that make Cunningham a joyful place for students, families, and staff.
What We’re Looking For
• A bilingual educator with a heart for young children and a passion for early childhood learning.
• Teacher certification is not required to apply. Candidates who are currently enrolled in, or willing to enroll in, an Alternative Certification Program (ACP) are encouraged to apply.
• Someone who is patient, creative, organized, and ready to make learning fun.
• A teacher who understands the importance of structure, routines, movement, play, and relationship-building in Kindergarten.
• An educator who values teamwork and is excited to collaborate with colleagues and families.
• Someone committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners, including students receiving special education services, language support, or intervention.
• A positive team player who is ready to help our Colts grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
