A DAY IN THE LIFE
• Plan and deliver targeted math and science instruction to two classes of up to eight fourth and/or fifth grade students with learning differences Communicate with colleagues and parents to provide an exceptional experience for all families
• Engage in the continuous pursuit of lifelong personal and professional development and reflection
• Observe, analyze, and pivot based on the needs of kids
• Record, synthesize, and report progress in both formal and informal ways Provide support to kids in the form of social coaching
• Have fun teaching and learning
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Experience teaching in a classroom setting required Bachelor Degree required

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required with teacher certification preferred
• Three to five years of relative classroom experience required
• Comfort in teaching a range of grade levels and content areas
• Experience working with diverse learners
• Knowledge of learning differences and the ability to differentiate instruction in the classroom based on those needs
• Strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
• Analytical approach to curriculum, instructional methods, and students
• Flexibility as it relates to classroom management, pacing of curriculum, and student expectations
• Compassion for students, parents, and colleagues
