Special Education Teacher (LBS1) – Arlington Heights, IL | 2026/2027 School Year

Contract: 2026/2027 school year | 37.5 hrs/week | Follows school calendar
Pay: $45- $55/hourly
What You’ll Do
• Teach and support students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement IEPs and adaptive lesson plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Maintain documentation and compliance
• Create a positive classroom environment where students can thrive
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement
• Experience with IEPs, case management, and special education teaching preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform essential physical tasks of teaching (standing, walking, lifting up to 25–40 lbs, reading and speaking clearly)
