Job Description
Round Rock ISD is looking for a Special Education Behavior Specialist. Looking for candidates with:
• Strong leadership and coaching of campus teams in systems and utilization of behavioral strategies.
• Experience working with students who are impacted with: Emotional Behavioral disabilities, Autism, OHI, etc,
• Strong knowledge of behavioral science and how it applies in the school setting.
• Knowledge and experience in evaluating behavioral needs, conducting Functional Behavior assessments, and writing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Knowledge of Crisis support and De-escalation strategies.
• Ability and knowledge of data collection, and how to utilize it to come up with teams and develop student programs.
• Ability to be flexible.
