We are seeking passionate and experienced educators to join our growing school community. Whether you're nurturing the curiosity of our youngest learners in KG or leading our high school students through critical foundational years, you'll play a vital role in shaping futures and instilling a love of learning.
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with learning standards
• Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Utilize relevant technology and learning materials to support instruction
• Observe and assess student progress and development regularly
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and growth
• Communicate effectively with parents and participate in family engagement events
• Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school-wide meetings and initiatives
• Uphold NYCMC’s educational and Islamic values throughout daily practice
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Education, Mathematics, Science or Technology
• Valid New York State Teaching Certification
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience
• Deep understanding of child development, curriculum design, and instructional strategies
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
• Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, and faith-aligned education
• Passion for working in a values-driven, community-centered organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
