Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Spanish Teacher position for middle school students located in Mound, MN. The Spanish Teacher will design and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons that build students’ skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Daily responsibilities include planning standards-based units, preparing materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The educator will maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, communicate regularly with families and colleagues, and participate in relevant school meetings or events. The role also involves supporting individual learners who need additional practice or enrichment in Spanish.

Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in Spanish Teaching and general Teaching, with the ability to engage middle school learners at varying proficiency levels.
• Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development that aligns with educational standards and school goals.
• Ability to provide individualized support through Tutoring and small-group instruction as needed.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish, with clear and accurate language modeling for students.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field; appropriate teaching licensure or eligibility is preferred, based on local requirements.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to support the mission, values, and community life of Our Lady of the Lake School.
