Job Description
• On-site position in Georgetown, Texas, just 30 minutes outside Austin, including relocation assistance
• Annual salary of $100,000, distributed weekly, plus health, dental, and vision coverage starting day one
• Full-time role requiring 40 hours per week at a globally recognized innovative school
You believe a six-year-old with exceptional ability can master algebra, and that traditional schools often discourage such ambition. If that perspective unsettles you, this position is not the right fit. If it reflects why you entered education in the first place, continue reading.
At gt.school, children do not passively receive instruction from the front of a room. They progress through adaptive learning platforms designed to accelerate their pace by five to ten times what conventional classrooms permit. This structure allows you to focus on what truly transforms a child: guiding them in essential life skills, inspiring them to pursue ambitious objectives, and maintaining expectations rigorous enough to elevate their performance. You do not deliver the academic material. You are the catalyst that drives a seven-year-old to surpass her previous achievements.
Your workday centers on small student groups rather than classes of thirty. You may facilitate a one-hour session on concentration or public speaking in the morning, then conduct individual coaching in the afternoon with a student facing challenges. You will leverage real-time data to identify the motivational approach that re-engages a hesitant learner. On some days a child resists, and your responsibility is to earn their commitment without compromising standards. Upholding those standards demonstrates your belief in their capability.
Excel with your cohort and advancement follows. Lead Guides mentor the broader team on motivation techniques and performance standards. Campus Leads oversee entire school operations. This role marks the beginning of that trajectory.
Bring your commitment and your expectations. Submit your application today.
What You Will Be Doing
• Facilitate one-hour life skills workshops for small groups of gifted children aged five to eight, teaching focus, self-regulation, public speaking, and feedback exchange
• Conduct individualized and small-group coaching sessions designed to drive each student toward ambitious goals within their adaptive learning applications
• Study the life skills curriculum and lesson frameworks, then present them with narrative engagement and enthusiasm rather than rigid adherence to scripts
• Administer and oversee Test2Pass mastery evaluations, promoting only those students who have authentically achieved skill mastery
• Analyze student profiles, individual interests, and Coachbot performance data to select the most effective motivators, such as school currency systems or leaderboard recognition, for each learner
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Delivering lectures to a full classroom. Academic instruction occurs through the software platform, while you provide coaching support
• Developing or following a rigid, standardized curriculum. The adaptive applications tailor content to individual children, eliminating the need to target average performance
• Overseeing a classroom of thirty pupils. Your work involves small cohorts where you know each child personally
• Supervising children passively using computers. Passive screen monitoring contradicts the core of this position
• Advancing students who lack genuine mastery simply to maintain favorable weekly metrics
