Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, faith-filled Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for 3-year olds, fostering their social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to engage with children in a fun and educational manner under the general supervision of the Preschool Director.
Responsibilities
• Upholds and promotes the moral values of Catholic Teachings.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
• Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents regarding their development and achievements.
• Facilitate daily activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Establish routines that promote good habits in hygiene, nutrition, and social interaction.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
• Minimum requirement of six months Child Care Experience and a CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a Quality First Program or other accredited Preschools.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
