Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, and early childhood education.

• Support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s emotional well-being.

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.

• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student progress.

• Support the lead teacher in incorporating innovative teaching methods to enhance early childhood development.

• Assess student performance regularly through observations, assessments, and feedback to guide instruction and ensure continuous growth.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.

• Proven ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary students.

• Expertise in classroom management and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.

• Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with autism or disabilities.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and team members clearly and empathetically.

• Prior experience in daycare or school settings is preferred.
