Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification/license for Special Education (state-specific or eligibility to obtain in Georgia)
• Prior experience in K-12 special education environments preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability to new classroom settings and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction and support to students with disabilities
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families
• Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
