Job Title: Noon Duty Aide

Purpose Of Job

Supporting staff and students by monitoring student activities, setting-up the cafeteria before, during and after lunch, and assisting children during each school lunch session.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist children when entering the cafeteria during their lunch period in an orderly fashion.
• Receive children from the classroom teachers for the lunch period.
• Make sure each child received utensils, milk, juice and other supplies.
• Assure that children empty their trays when finished.
• Assure the children line up for recess or next activity at the appointed time.
• Must report 30 minutes prior to the first lunch session and remain 30 after the last session to ensure the cleanliness and order of the cafeteria.
• Assist as needed or instructed by the Administrator.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with teachers, students and administrators.
