Ideal Qualifications:
• Valid Special Education teaching credentials/certification (state-specific)
• Experience supporting students at various grade levels: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Adaptable instructional style to meet a range of learning needs and developmental stages
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans in accordance with legal and district guidelines
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate a wide range of learning needs and abilities
• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and classroom support throughout the school day
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to deliver comprehensive student support
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in meetings with families and staff to discuss student goals and achievements
• Uphold a positive, inclusive environment conducive to growth and success for all students
