Job Description
The Office of Out-of-School Time Programs (OSTP) afterschool programs are located in 55 Title I elementary schools, and education campuses throughout the District of Columbia. The programming day typically runs from the end of the school day until 6:15 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Program schedules may vary, but a typical day is organized into a 60-minute Academic Power Hour, a healthy supper or snack, and an enrichment block during which students engage in a wide range of structured and engaging wellness and educational activities. Afterschool activities are either provided by OSTP program staff or DCPS community-based partners. All staff hired for the school year 26-27 by August 2, 2026, will be required to attend a mandatory all staff training August 11th & 12th , 2026 (More information with training date will be included in the offer letter).
