Job Description
A part-time intervention specialist is sought to provide telehealth services for high school students in grades 9 through 12 with special education needs. This role focuses on delivering targeted support to enhance students' academic and social skills in a remote learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
• Conducting virtual sessions to support students' academic progress and behavioral goals
• Collaborating with families, educators, and related service providers to ensure coordinated care and support
• Monitoring student performance and adjusting interventions as necessary
• Maintaining detailed records and progress reports in compliance with educational guidelines and regulations
Ideal candidates will have:
• Certification or licensure in Special Education
• Experience working with high school students (grades 9-12), preferably in a telehealth or remote setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with teams remotely
• Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies for students with disabilities
• Ability to manage time efficiently within a part-time schedule
