Qualifications and Experience

• Active Florida ESE (Exceptional Student Education) certification

• K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification required

• Prior experience leading a self-contained special education classroom

• Able to complete Florida school fingerprinting and eligibility verification

• Prepared for a virtual prescreen interview to establish fit

Responsibilities

• Lead a self-contained ESE classroom for elementary students (with possible adjustments based on preference)

• Support students with diverse learning levels and exceptionalities

• Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff onsite (not a remote position)

• Ensure compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and district protocols
