Role and Responsibilities:

As a Curriculum Teacher at KinderCare, you will guide children through essential stages of development while maintaining a classroom that is safe, welcoming, and full of meaningful learning experiences. You will collaborate with families and coworkers to ensure each child receives high-quality early education and support.
• Follow KinderCare’s curriculum and adjust instruction to meet the developmental needs of individual children.
• Maintain a classroom space that is safe, inclusive, engaging, and nurturing for all students.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, team members, and community partners.
• Partner with parents to reinforce learning and encourage growth beyond the classroom.
• Support the center’s goals involving enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.
• Comply with KinderCare policies and state licensing regulations.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong customer service skills, effective organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
• Must meet state qualification requirements or be willing to complete required training or certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to complete the certification process.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom, indoor, and outdoor activities.
• Clear communication skills in English with families, children, and coworkers.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or eligibility based on NAEYC standards.
• Two to three years of prior experience in early childhood education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Recognition as a state-approved trainer (preferred).

Compensation and Benefits:
