We are seeking passionate and qualified applicants for the role of Outreach High School Athletic Trainer - Part Time to join our dynamic team.

This position provides Athletic Training Services to high school sports on a Part-Time Basis for Sacramento City Unified School District.

Monday through Friday with guaranteed 25-29 hours a week.

• Deliver Athletic Training Services to athletes across multiple sports programs.

• Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and parents to ensure optimal safety, performance, and care.

• Support practices, games, and events, including weekend commitments with predetermined scheduling.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Master’s degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program (or Bachelor's for programs completed before 2022).

• Certifications: Current BOC certification, along with American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid.

• Skills & Abilities:

• Expertise in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation techniques.

• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for injury tracking and reporting.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive situations.

• Experience with athletic training aids (e.g., taping, modalities, exercise programs).

• Mindset: A team player with a passion for athletic training, innovation, and delivering exceptional care.
