Montessori Primary Lead Teacher
Charlotte Montessori School is looking for a full time Primary Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals. Applicant should have an AMS Montessori certificate in Primary, and experience working with young children ages 3–6. College degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Montessori trainees welcome! Charlotte Montessori School is looking for a dependable candidate that is committed to finding a long term position.
Candidates must be self-motivated, patient, energetic, and possess a positive attitude. Candidates should be able to demonstrate respect for the child, school, and environment. Hours are generally 7:30am to 4:00pm, five days a week. Promptness and dependability are a must.
The Lead Teacher is an important position on a two-member teaching team in a Primary setting. He/she helps to ensure that the classroom environment is prepared; leads lessons, communicates with parents and is a reflection of the Charlotte Montessori mission. Most importantly, this person is integral to our students’ academic and social/emotional growth.
