Job Description

Berkwood Hedge School

At Berkwood Hedge School, we believe school should be a place where children are deeply known, joyfully engaged, and inspired to grow into thoughtful, compassionate human beings.

For 80 years, our progressive K–8 community has nurtured creativity, curiosity, and connection through project-based learning, social-emotional development, and a strong commitment to social justice. We are a school where relationships matter, children’s voices are honored, and learning is rich with meaning and purpose.

We are seeking a Director of Admissions, Tuition Assistance & Enrollment Management who will help shape the future of our community by welcoming new families into the life of the school with warmth, clarity, strategic insight, and authentic enthusiasm.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who understands that admissions is not simply about enrollment—it is about building belonging, telling a compelling story, and helping families imagine themselves inside a vibrant educational community.

The Opportunity

This is more than an admissions role—it is an opportunity to serve as a leader, storyteller, connector, strategist, and ambassador for a school grounded in purpose.

As Berkwood Hedge enters an exciting chapter—bringing our full K–8 program together on one campus—this role offers the rare chance to help shape how new families experience that momentum, vision, and possibility.

We are looking for someone who loves people, delights in children, thinks strategically, and communicates with warmth and confidence.
