Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.** The School Performance Review Analyst performs high level research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of school district’s educational, financial, and operational processes. Analysts review data, interview school district personnel, observe school operations, and prepare detailed reports with findings and actionable recommendations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, optimize resource allocation, and support district decision-making. Analysts may plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Travel is required and varies by project. The position reports to the School Performance Review Manager and works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Evaluate school district programs and operations for inefficiencies, compliance with laws and regulations, and industry best practices.Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and performance gaps.Interview school district personnel to gather information on program operations.Prepare clear, concise, and nonbiased reports that contain findings and recommendations for school districts to improve or initiate changes that produce efficiencies and cost savings.Present reports to various legislative and public entities.Request data and information from various entities, independently analyze and interpret data, develop recommendations for school district action, and concisely report the results in a format appropriate for a wide variety of audiences.Apply knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to public education and school districts.Contribute to agency projects and perform related work as assigned.
