United Faith Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lower School Teacher (TK-5th Grade) to join our Christ-centered educational ministry. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that seamlessly integrate Biblical principles into all subjects.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to address the diverse needs of students.
• Develop students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, aligning with Christian values.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and staff to build a cohesive and dynamic lower school program.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of an undergraduate degree or equivalent teaching experience and education is required.
• Ideal candidates hold a degree in education, with a Master's in teaching considered highly advantageous.
• A passion for ministry and a genuine desire to impact students' lives through teaching and mentorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, and a commitment to excellence in education and discipleship, with expertise in one or more subject areas.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a grade-level team.
• Creativity, organizational proficiency, and basic computer skills are essential, along with a willingness to be trained in processes specific to our academy.
