Christ the King Schl in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a faith-filled and dynamic principal t cntinue the missin f Cathlic educatin in a new, state-f-the-art facility. Christ the King Schl emplys abut 15 faculty and staff and has 10 classrms with ver 150 students in grades PreK- 8.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Cathlic wh is ready t lead while wrking cllabratively with the Pastr, faculty, staff, students, parents, parish leaders and ther stakehlders. The starting date fr this psitin is July 1, 2026.

The ideal candidate pssesses a spirit f innvatin and will be a mtivating frce in shaping ur Cathlic identity and rigrus academic prgrams. This individual shuld have a passin fr excellence and be instrumental in leading and supprting staff in educatinal best practices. This persn shuld be able t build strng relatinships with multiple stakehlders, demnstrating leadership and engagement with all. Finally, the mdel candidate will understand the imprtance f schl vitality and viability, and therefre, be vested in making students and faculty feel successful and valued fr their cntributins.

Christ the King Schl is a Middle States Assciatin accredited schl within the Archdicese f Philadelphia and it is lcated in the Mrell Park sectin f Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Christ the King has achieved Archdicese f Philadelphia Schl f Distinguished Instructin.

Its gvernance mdel is pastr, Father Jhn Babwitch wrking cllabratively with the Principal, and the Bard f Limited Jurisdictin.

Requirements:

The principal f Christ the King Schl must be a dynamic, faith-filled leader with a strng cmmitment t Cathlic educatin and the teachings f the Church. This persn must lead by persnal witness t the Cathlic faith and exhibit passin and cmpassin in articulating the missin f Christ the King Schl t students, parents, faculty, stakehlders, and the cmmunity.

Qualificatins:
Must be a practicing member f the Rman cathlic church, active in a parish c

Pssess a current teaching certificatin issued by the state

Preferred administratin certificatin issued by the state
• f Pennsylvania
Pssess a master’s degree frm an accredited cllege r university, preferably in educatinal leadership r at least be able t fulfill this requirement within their first tw years f empl
• yment.
Preferred minimum f five years f experience in a Cathlic sch

Previus experience in Cathlic schl administratin will be favrably c
