Elementary Teacher (K–5) | Kingdom Academy – Miami, FL Position Overview
Kingdom Academy is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher who loves working with children and is passionate about Christian education. The teacher will create a Christ-centered classroom that supports academic growth while helping students develop character, responsibility, and a love for learning.
Elementary teachers at Kingdom Academy guide students through core subjects while building strong relationships with students and families. The goal is to help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a supportive and engaging environment.
Qualifications
• Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical values
• Agreement with the mission and educational philosophy of Kingdom Academy
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification preferred
• Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with parents, students, and staff
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subject areas including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
• Create a structured and positive classroom environment where students feel supported and challenged
• Integrate biblical values and character development into daily instruction
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and classroom activities
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and student development
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student success
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
• Support school initiatives that promote strong academics and Christian character
