Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Toddler and Preschool Teacher, located in Columbus, OH. The teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, developing play-based and age-appropriate curricula, facilitating engaging learning activities, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children. Additional responsibilities include open communication with parents, observing and documenting developmental milestones, and working collaboratively with other staff to ensure the success of the children.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to toddlers and preschoolers
• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and understanding of child development
• Clear and effective Communication skills to engage children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Use positive guidance strategies to support children
• Maintain state licensing rules
• Follow Step Up To Quality Guidelines
• Relevant certifications or educational qualifications in early childhood education, child development, or a related field
• Previous experience in teaching or working with young children is required
• CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
