Job Description
Most admissions professionals are judged by numbers. This position exists to uphold standards.
Alpha is developing one of the most forward-thinking educational frameworks in existence. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks—our outcomes data confirms this. Afternoon hours are dedicated to depth, autonomy, and applied skill development. The model delivers results. But results depend entirely on enrolling the right families.
This is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus location, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a coordination role. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not volume maximization. The objective is fit.
We welcome applicants from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive programs, upscale hospitality, executive services, premium membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a personalized, multi-phase process with discernment, transparency, and accountability.
If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experiential quality define brand identity, this role will resonate—only now applied to work that genuinely transforms lives.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are actively recruiting in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.
What You Will Be Doing
• Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, spanning initial engagement through final onboarding.
• Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate alignment before proposing options or advising on next steps.
• Overseeing 20+ concurrent family interactions across various enrollment phases, maintaining clear tracking and timely follow-up.
• Delivering campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment discussions that transparently convey results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable accurate forecasting, effective prioritization, and consistent service excellence.
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
• Accepting families with poor fit merely to meet enrollment targets.
• Overseeing a sizable team or navigating complex approval hierarchies.
• Distributing family experience ownership across multiple individuals.
• Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.
