Specialist III, Position Control (226 Days) -(RTP20260519-032)

Description

• Process position transactions and position conversion(s) for departments District-wide according to established procedures.

• Update position tables and work structure definitions in Oracle.

• Create and maintain district organizational reports and org charts.

• Assist with the creation of job codes by communicating with other departments to ensure accurate placement of positions.

• Assist and support division staff with position and staff related issues.

• Analyze position data for the annual financial planning process.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to position control function.

• Assist in the development of procedures manuals to facilitate the attainment of assigned targets.

• Conduct regular audits of positions to ensure accuracy of positions, to monitor overfills and address any other issues related to positions.

• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. Equivalency).

• Preferred 2+ direct years of experience in administrative support.

• Ability to successfully complete assignments with general supervision.

• Ability to use computer software for ad hoc reporting (Oracle Report Portal, Microsoft Power BI and Visio preferred), Microsoft Office, ORG Plus, Public Sector Budgeting (PSB) and experience with Oracle E-Business is a plus.

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral format.

• Organization, prioritization, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.

• Knowledge of district organization, operations, and administrative policies preferred.
