The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is looking to hire a Director of Library Science to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an engaged Director of Library Science to lead our library transformation. In this role, you'll oversee all library programs, create a diverse and engaging collection, and ensure technology supports student achievement. You'll also collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to build a thriving library environment.
Qualified candidates must have:
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in library science.
• Seven years of full-time, paid, professional experience in the field of library science, three of which have been in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
• Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Supervisor, Library Science PK – 12 or a valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Library Science PK – 12
This full-time role with a starting salary of $96,122, commensurate with experience and a top-tier benefits package.
