Council Grove Elementary is building a new team—and we’re looking for educators ready to make a difference.

We’re seeking a passionate Certified Elementary Teacher who brings ideas, energy, and compassion and wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subjects
• Create a structured, inclusive classroom for diverse learners
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Use data to drive instruction and monitor student growth
• Implement positive behavior supports
• Provide targeted support and intervention as needed
• Collaborate with staff and specialists to meet student needs
• Communicate regularly with families and maintain student records
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and team collaboration
Qualifications
• Valid Elementary Teaching Certification
• Experience with elementary students (early childhood a plus)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to equity and high expectations for all students
• Experience with special education or diverse learners preferred
• Title I experience is a plus
