Job Description
California Language Academy is seeking fun and dynamic English teachers for our daytime and/or afternoon/evening programs. Our classes are taught in our center to a student population that is both in-person and online.
We are looking for teachers to teach an engaging curriculum that is creative and unique.
Teachers will:
Teach pre-designed curriculum, follow weekly lesson plans, record attendance and student academic progress, attend monthly teacher meetings and professional development, and provide feedback to the Academic Manager.
Requirements:
Must have a bachelor's degree and either a certificate to teach English or 3 months of relevant teaching experience. The teacher must be passionate about student success, love social interaction with students and staff, be professional in all areas of the teaching position including appearance and attitude. Must be able to manage pressure situations well, prioritize situations, be responsible for work tasks and deadlines, and be respectful of international students and other cultures.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
