Job Description
True North Classical Charter, a network of high-achieving classical schools in Miami, FL, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable educator to teach Upper School Music with a focus in Choral Instruction for the 2026-2027 school year.
We are looking for a subject matter expert with a strong background in vocal music, ensemble direction, and choral performance who is dedicated to academic excellence and the formation of young scholars through classical education.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university
• Certification is not required to teach at True North
• Candidates align with the classical liberal arts curriculum and philosophy employed at True North Classical Academy
• Candidates must view education as a vocation and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the moral and academic success of all students
• Strong background in choral music, conducting, and vocal performance

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation:
Starting salary for new teachers without experience begins at $52,470. Starting salary for experienced teachers is based on experience and expertise. Additional compensation includes:
• Master's supplement: $3,410
• Doctorate supplement: $7,920
