Job Description
The Meadows School seeks a skilled and collaborative Systems Administrator to support and advance the school’s core information systems. Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Technology team, this role is essential to ensuring the effective management, integration, and use of the school’s data systems in service of teaching, learning, and school operations. The Systems Administrator will oversee the school’s primary platforms, including Veracross (Student Information System), Canvas (Learning Management System), Google Workspace for Education, and Vidigami, along with other mission-critical databases. This position plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, optimizing system performance, and supporting faculty and staff in the effective use of technology.

As an integral member of the Operations and Technology teams, the Systems Administrator supports the school community by ensuring the effective management, integration, and performance of the school’s core information systems. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, and technology partners, this role helps advance the school’s mission by promoting data integrity, operational efficiency, and meaningful access to technology resources. Through responsive support and strategic systems management, the Systems Administrator plays a vital role in supporting teaching, learning, and the overall success of the school community.
What You’ll Do:
• Administer and manage Veracross, including system configuration, data integrity, reporting, and user support
• Support and maintain Canvas, including course setup, integrations, and faculty training
• Oversee Google Workspace for Education, including account management, permissions, and system optimization
• Manage Vidigami and other school-wide platforms and databases
• Collaborate with the Technology team to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with infrastructure and security practices
• Provide training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on system use and best practices
• Develop documentation and workflows to support consistent and effective system use
• Generate reports and dashboards to support academic and operational decision-making
• Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and school policies
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with external vendors as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience with Veracross strongly preferred
• Experience administering Google Workspace for Education
• Familiarity with Canvas or other learning management systems
• Experience with Vidigami or similar platforms is a plus
• Strong understanding of database systems, integrations, and data management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users
• Experience in an educational or independent school setting preferred
