Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Montessori Head Teacher at our school in Emeryville, CA. The Head Teacher will oversee classroom activities, guide children in their educational and personal development, and ensure adherence to the principles and philosophies of the Montessori method. This role involves designing and implementing engaging curriculums, observing and assessing students' learning progress, and collaborating with staff and families to foster an inclusive learning community.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Curriculum Development and Pedagogy
• Strong background in Education and Educational Leadership
• Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with staff and families
• Montessori Certification or training is required
• Experience working with early childhood education programs
• Ability to create a warm, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Organizational and team leadership skills
• Relevant credentials in education, such as a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
