Role Description
The Administrative Assistant II is a full-time, on-site role based in Chaska, MN. This role provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the assigned school or department. Responsibilities include managing schedules, maintaining records and databases, coordinating communication between staff, families, and the community, preparing reports, and assisting in organizing events and activities. The Administrative Assistant II will also support faculty and administrators by managing correspondence, processing documents, and ensuring compliance with school district policies.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in administrative tasks, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and correspondence management
• Strong skills in data entry, document preparation, and database management
• Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
• Competence in using office software such as MS Office Suite and other administrative tools
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including staff, students, families, and community members
• Familiarity with school district policies and regulations is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or administrative certification is a bonus
• Previous experience in administrative or support roles, preferably in an educational setting
