ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers for elementary school placements in the Raytown, MO area. These are full school-year contract positions offering you the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Multiple classroom settings are available, including:
Self-Contained Providing structured, comprehensive instruction to students with significant academic and behavioral needs in a dedicated classroom environment
Essential Skills Supporting students in developing functional life and academic skills essential for greater independence
Low Functioning Working with students who require intensive, individualized support across communication, daily living, and foundational learning goals

REQUIREMENTS
------------------
Active, full Missouri Special Education teaching license
Experience working with students with disabilities in an elementary setting preferred
Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs
Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach to student support
Ability to work effectively with paraprofessionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams
