Alite Associated Schools is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals who are seeking to make early childhood education part of their careers. Alite Associated Schools is looking for Substitute teacher aides, assistants, or lead teachers for the upcoming school year for our Associated Schools for the area of Sacramento, CA. and surrounding areas.
Job Duties:
Under the supervision of the Child Development Supervisor:
• The substitute teacher aide or assistant will assist the classroom teacher in the implementation of the program curriculum and school readiness.
• Prepare the classroom materials and plans, providing quality learning experiences for young children.
• Assist in the implementation of methods that promote independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem-solving.
• Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring, and safe environment for the children.
Experience in an Early Head-Start, Head Start, Montessori, and/or Childcare Center setting is a PLUS.
Qualifications:
• No experience required
• Minimum 0-11units in Child Development/Early Childhood or related field.
• A.A. or B.A. in Child Development or Early Childhood is a PLUS.
• Minimum 3 Units in Infants and Toddlers it's a PLUS.
Requirements:
• MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE. (Serious applicants only)
• Must have open availability (Monday to Friday full time).
• Part-time- must be available 3 FULL DAYS ***NO HALF DAYS
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Immunization Record Card (MMR and Tdap vaccinations)
***Teacher Aide/Assistant might start working prior to the beginning of the upcoming school year.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
