The Role
We're looking for a passionate, reliable Part-Time Violin Teacher to join our growing team. You'll teach private lessons to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advancing players, in a professional, family-friendly studio environment.
What You'll Do
• Teach private violin lessons to students ranging from young beginners to adults
• Adapt your teaching style to each student's age, personality, and goals
• Prepare students for our live student concerts held at real performance venues
• Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and studio staff
• Follow our proven student retention programs including Play Journals and Concerts
What We're Looking For
• Solid proficiency on violin; ability to teach across skill levels
• Genuine love for teaching and helping students grow: Ability to keep student interested/excited in lessons
• Patient and encouraging with kids and adults alike
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to use devices such as iPads for note taking and other activities in studio
• Performance-minded — excited to get students stage-ready
Team players only!
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• A minimum intermediate skill level in reading sheet music.
• Ability to play Violin. Viola, and Cello would be great additions but not required.
• Formal music training and/or display understanding of fundamental musical concepts are required.
• Available to work a minimum of two afternoons or evenings a week, Saturdays are an additional option.Preferred Skills:
• Passionate about working with student / easily connects with people
• Happy to work with technology, using tablets, etc.
• Open to performing in public
• Open to accepting coaching
• Open to both using our preset curriculum and creating your own as needed
• Loves to teach both private lessons and small group classes.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
