Job Description
Compass Community Schools seeks a Family Engagement Manager for the 2026-2027 school year. The Family Engagement Manager will create, organize, and implement orientations and workshops and families. They will provide regular communication to families and sustain parent partnerships to help establish key practices to support student success at home and at school. They will provide families with ongoing updates on student progress through multiple channels through quarterly gatherings and conferences to strengthen relationships and equip parents to support their child’s literacy development.
Primary Responsibilities
• Implement initiatives to build strong relationships with families and schools
• Plan and implement family workshops and provide tools for families to help student growth at home
• Advocate for families and students
• Foster and promote family involvement in schools
• Works closely with at-risk students to ensure they receive continued support for their educational goals
• Informs families of community resources that could provide needed assistance
• Supports North Star Literacy Project goals including communicating K-3 literacy progress to parents on a quarterly basis
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Affinity with mission and vision of Compass Community Schools
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong ability to plan strategically and then execute these plans with attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build productive relationships with teammates and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution is preferred

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
