Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano Instructor to join our vibrant educational team, dedicated to fostering musical growth in both private and group settings. Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and personalized piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels in both individual and group formats

• Develop comprehensive curricula tailored to each student’s goals, whether for beginner training, advanced performance, or recreational playing

• Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate technical skill development, musical theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and repertoire building

• Manage classroom dynamics effectively by fostering a positive learning environment and implementing behavior management strategies

• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate continued improvement

• Organize recitals, performances, or mini-concerts to showcase student achievements and build confidence

• Collaborate with parents or guardians for younger students on progress updates and at-home practice strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching piano across diverse age groups, including early childhood education and adult learners

• Strong background in curriculum development with the ability to adapt lessons for individual needs

• Excellent classroom management skills to create an engaging and disciplined learning environment

• Knowledge of teaching methodologies related to childhood development, special education needs, and behavior management

• Ability to incorporate additional skills such as photography, ballet, theater, or dancing into creative lesson plans (nice-to-have)

• Experience with lesson planning tools and educational technology is preferred

• Passion for working with children and fostering a love of music through innovative teaching approaches
