Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tucson, AZ, for a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher. The Assistant Teacher will support lead teachers in implementing lesson plans, assist in managing classroom activities, and contribute to the educational and emotional well-being of students. Responsibilities also include aiding in curriculum delivery, fostering an engaging and caring environment, and supporting children in their early learning and development milestones.
Qualifications
• Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to support structured and engaging learning experiences
• Experience with Kindergarten and Early Childhood Education to address the developmental needs of young learners
• Strong Teaching skills, with the ability to assist in delivering age-appropriate instruction and fostering a nurturing environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with peers, children, and parents
• Ability to support the school’s mission and values
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
• CPI/First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
