Job Description

Holy Rosary School, Seattle, is seeking an Instructional Assistant to work in our preschool beginning in fall, 2026. A successful candidate will have experience working with school age children, preferably in a school setting, and preferably be a practicing Catholic. The candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be a problem solver, and be adaptable to different teaching styles and different student learning styles.

The candidate must be willing to complete the necessary requirements that are in place with the state for a licensed preschool classroom (which includes, but is not limited to first aid training, blood borne pathogen training, TB testing, and STARS hours or an equivalent college degree). The instructional assistant will primarily assist in the full-day PreK program supervising students, leading small groups, assisting the teacher with projects as assigned, and providing recess supervision, but may also support half day programs as well.

The instructional assistant's work schedule follows the school calendar, and hours are likely Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 3:30.
Salary

Ranges from $23/hour - $25/hour. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
