Small Faces Child Development Center is currently looking for a caring individual to work with our after school program as part of a teaching team, and assist in our preschool program in the morning.
This is a full time union position with full benefits starting 90 days after hire.
This shift is 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Who are we?
Small Faces is a non-profit child care in the Crown Hill Neighborhood. We provide children a welcoming space where their social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills are creatively nurtured through a play-based curriculum. We have been providing care to our local community for 50 years!

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must be
• 18 years old (Required)
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 12+ college credits in ECE, Education or human development are strongly preferred
• Seattle, WA 98117: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Evidence of compliance with city, state, and federal legal requirements are needed for hire and include:
• Registering in DCYF (Department of Children Youth and Families) State Registry, MERIT
• Ability to obtain and maintain DCYF background check and finger print clearance
• Results of a TB test that are not older than 12 months
• Proof of MMR vaccine
• 30 hour basic training MERIT course certificate
• Current CPR and First aid training
• Blood Borne Pathogens Certificate from the last 12 months
• Food Handler's Permit
