Join us as a Science Enrichment Instructor!
We are looking for a dynamic individual to facilitate a fun and engaging one-hour after-school science program based on a pre-set curriculum. In this role, you will inspire young learners through hands-on experiments that combine entertainment and education in a high-energy environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct a weekly after-school science class for children aged 4-12 over an 8-10 week period.
• Bring excitement and enthusiasm to every session, making science fun and accessible.
• Occasional opportunities for daytime programming based on your availability.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with elementary-age children is preferred.
• Availability for at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Access to reliable transportation (no public or ride-sharing).
• All employees are required to undergo fingerprinting for criminal background checks.
• Some college education is a plus.
• A fun and outgoing personality is a must!
We provide comprehensive training in the curriculum and supply all necessary materials. Our Mad Science classes align with the school calendar and are available year-round. This part-time position offers rewarding work that can fit seamlessly into your lifestyle.
Compensation: $50 per class conducted.
