Special Education Teacher (3 Openings)
We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join for the 2026–2027 school year. Schedule:
37.5 Hours per Week - Standard school hours based on campus schedule.
Position Openings:
• 1 Self-Contained Classroom - Grade Levels: K–4
• 2 Resource Classrooms - Grade Levels: 6–8
Position Details:
Contract Dates: 2026–2027 School Year (August 2026 – May 2027)
Number of School Sites: Setting: Elementary and Middle School
Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Maintain student progress reports and required documentation
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaboration
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district special education regulations
Qualifications:
• Active North Carolina Special Education license required
• Previous classroom or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
