Legacy Academy is a Christ-centered school serving PreK–6th grade students in East Nashville. Our mission is to develop students to be ambassadors of the Kingdom in spirit and truth; intellectually strong, wholly confident, and empowered to change the world.

We are seeking a Kindergarten Teacher who:

Schedule & Calendar
• Tuesday–Friday school week
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM workday
• August–May (10-month position)
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute engaging, structured daily lessons
• Submit weekly lesson plans and quarterly unit plans
• Prepare learning materials, activities, and assessments
• Maintain a well-managed, orderly classroom environment
• Communicate consistently and clearly with parents
• Track student growth and manage student data
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development
• Integrate a biblical worldview into all instruction and interactions
• Uphold and model school culture and expectations
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Experience working with young children (early elementary, elementary)
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and lead students
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited university
• Demonstrate ability to be resilient, flexible, and to take initiative

Pay: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
