Position: Receptionist
Reports to: Lower School Principal
Qualifying Characteristics:

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of receptionist experience
• Experience in a school setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Greet all visitors and process their licenses through the Hall Pass system to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
• Document and review the attendance of students who are tardy (whether they have been informed of their tardiness or not) and check out students leaving the school with their guardians.
• Sign off on incoming packages and ensure they are distributed to the appropriate recipient.
• Work with the Safety Team on alarm drills.
• Maintain a clean and presentable office environment. This includes:
• Teacher's Workroom
• Front office area (this includes watering the plants)
• Assist the school nurse in the event she cannot be in the school.
• Assist and/or monitor students in the office if the principal, assistant, or teacher is not available.
• Coordinate after-school clubs with teachers or others outside of our school, which includes:
• Scheduling on ParentSquare
• Contacting the social media coordinator to post on Parent Square
• Creating spreadsheets for those conducting clubs, so we have a list of those participating and teaching
• Assist with substitute teacher coverage for the Lower School as needed.
• Coordinate car name tags for parents when picking up students.
• Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Work Status: Exempt, salary, full-time (12-month)
