Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site role in Columbus, OH, for a Middle School STEM Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging STEM-focused lessons, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Additional responsibilities include fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, assessing student progress, and preparing students for further studies in STEM fields. The role also involves working closely with other educators and stakeholders to enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, with the ability to teach middle school-level concepts.
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning focused on STEM education.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques to support diverse student needs and foster a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Ability to use technology and digital tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
• Previous experience working with middle school students is highly beneficial.
• A passion for education and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the classroom.
