Role and Responsibilities:

As a Daycare Teacher at Primrose Schools, you will guide and nurture young children while implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities. You will create a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to contribute to a positive classroom culture.
• Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for children in your care.
• Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and daily lesson plans.
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s developmental progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Provide positive guidance and support for children’s behavior and interactions.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s development and daily activities.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Meet state or local child care licensing requirements.
• Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare preferred.
• Knowledge of child development for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with classroom activities.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience implementing structured preschool or daycare programs.
• Familiarity with age-appropriate learning activities and social-emotional development.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
